Baby's Day Out

Well Stewie decided this morning that a half hour was totally long enough for a nap. So I decided we would take advantage of the low humidity. I dusted off the ol baseball cap, packed a diaperbag, and we headed out the door. We spent the morning at the park. And even though I was deathly afraid of ANYONE talking to us, I did good. Only a grandmother asked his age, and then walked away, and a foreign guy with two boys asked if he was a boy. So luckily I didnt have to talk much. Especially since the foreign guy could only speak english in one word sentences.
I was going to take Stewie straight home, but once in the car he didnt want to nap. So we went to the thrift store and I got a few shirts.
I feel very productive today. Although outings in public always give me a splitting headache. Specially when I am alone without Hunny. I just feel like everybody is watching me and thinking, "what the hell is her problem"... I know it sounds wierd but thats just the way I am.
But yeah. I need a nap!!

  • Wow. You need to meet my sister. She hates talking to anyone, especially in large groups! But I'm proud of you overcoming all of that so that Stewie can get out in the world and do new things! I'm dying to take Squeaks to the park, but with 102 degree weather, it's just not a good idea right now!
